Bozidar Djelic announced that the process of privatization of certain domestic banks is about to begin
Bozidar Djelic, Serbian Minister of Finance, announced that the process of privatization of certain domestic banks is about to begin. Djelic said for Novi Sad's DNEVNIK that within the next ten days he would sign the order for partial takeover of 16 Serbian banks. The Finance Minister said that privatization of banks must be accelerated; many bank directors are waiting for this decision because new de-politicized Steering Boards have to be appointed.
