German bank credit for stimulating imports
BELGRADE - The Geselischaft Berlin Bank approved on Wednesday to Komercijalna Bank a credit of 20 million euros for extending loans to domestic firms, in the form of medium term credits intended for imports and services from German suppliers, said a Komercijalna bank statement.
The general credit agreement between the two banks was signed with a view to improving trade cooperation of Germany and Yugoslavia, the statement said and specified that individual agreements between German and Yugoslav partners will be financed up to 85 pct of the concluded deal and insured by the German insurance agency Hermes, which accepts the guarantees of Komercijalna bank.
