Henkel majority owner of Merima
KRUSEVAC - In Belgrade on Monday evening was signed an agreement between Henkel and Merima under which the German
concern becomes the owner of 70 pct of the capital of our largest producer of hygiene products, it was confirmed to Tanjug in the Krusevac firm. Merima director general Vladimir Markovic told Tanjug on the telephone that he would not make any statements on the occasion, but announced a press conference soon.
Henkel paid 14,4 million euros for 70 pct of Merima, it was said from a number of sources in late August this year, when the tender call was made and the offer of the German concern was accepted.
