Pitic says Serbia potential regional leader
SALZBURG - Serbian Foreign Trade Minister Goran Pitic told Tanjug on Tuesday that Serbia showed what it has to offer to the region and Europe at the European economic summit in Salzburg, and that it can take on the role of leader in strengthening the economic and political stability of the Balkans.
"We showed the concrete results achieved in the year since the previous such meeting in Salzburg, and we indeed had something to show. We pointed out the changes in the fiscal sphere, in the areas of privatization and creating a business environment, and in legislative activities," Pitic said, adding that these results definitely present the country as one of the most prosperous in the region.
