BELGRADE – The Expert Forum has nominated its chairman and former Yugoslav president Milan Panic as a candidate in next month’s elections for Serbian president, the forum said in a statement today.
The statement noted Panic’s “economic experience, persistence and a well-known and unchanging political belief and vision of a modern Serbia in the European Union.”
Panic recently stepped down as head of pharmaceuticals giant ICN.
