I would extricate Serbia from poverty, grip of mafia, Draskovic
BELGRADE - Presidential candidate of the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) VUk Draskovic said Tuesday in Svrljig that as president he would extricate Serbia from poverty, unemployment and the grip of the mafia, return Kosovo and Metohija and "ended any sale or breaking up of state."
"Had I obtained the support of the people back in 1990, there would have been no war, no refugees and today Serbia would be in the European Union. Had the Serbian people given me its confidence in 1997, there would have been no NATO aggression, no lost Kosovo, the horrors we are living through today," the SPO informaiton service quoted Draskovic as saying.
