'Carnex' to bring charges against state
Belgrade - The Military Medical Academy in Belgrade has given pate manufactured
by Carnex in northern Serbia a clean bill of health after authorities
halted distribution over fears the July batch was responsible for an
outbreak of food poisoning.
Carnex has announced it is to sue the state for the loss of 70 to 80
million dinars.
Domestically center of an affair, Carnex gained European recognition
for the high quality of its products. It is a "Golden star", award that
is traditionally granted to the manufacturers of best quality of meat
products. Carnex will be awarded on October 28, in hotel Intercontinental
in Geneva.
