National hard currency reserves up to 2.7 billion dollars
BELGRADE - Yugoslavia's hard currency reserves in July stood at 2,706,000,000 dollars, or 14 million more than in June, while the dinar money mass during the same period was decreased by 1.6 percent, sources at the Yugoslav National Bank (NBJ) told Tanjug on Friday.
The hard currency reserves of the central bank in July were 1,852,000,000 dollars, and of commercial banks about 854 million, the sources said.
