BELGRADE - Serbia's foreign trade balance has changed in the first semester of this year, with most of imports coming from the European Union and most of exports going to countries in transition, contrary to the previous period, the latest issue of the G 17 Institute bulletin says.
Researcher Aleksandar Brankovic said the foreign trade deficit has grown as against the corresponding period of 2001, especially as regards exchange with Italy, Sweden, Germany and Britain, while the deficit was reduced in trade with Bulgaria and Romania and a surplus is growing in the trade with Macedonia and Bosnia.
