Forest hunting grounds contracting visitors for 2003
SREMSKA MITROVICA - The forest hunting grounds of Sremska
Mitrovica, northwestern Serbia, are already contracting
arrivals of groups of hunters from abroad for May 2003,
which is evidence of the keen interest of foreigners in
hunting in Srem, grounds chief Ljubisa Atanackovic said on
Wednesday.
These hunting grounds cover more than 30,000 hectares,
spreading from the western fringes of Belgrade all the way
to the border with Croatia. It is especially rich with wild
boar and deer. The most frequent visitors are hunters from
Italy, Germany, Spain and Austria.
