Imports by Srem companies exceed their exports
SREMSKA MITROVICA - Companies in the northwestern Serbian region of Srem realized foreign trade worth 59.9 million dollars in the first six months this year, but imports far exceeded exports, the Regional Chamber of Commerce said on Wednesday.
Companies from the municipalities of Ruma and Sremska Mitrovica accounted for 73 percent of the exports, and the bulk of the exported goods went to Italy. Most imports during this period were from Germany, the Chamber said.
