Retail prices rise by 3.9 percent in July
BELGRADE - In July retail prices rised by 3.9 percent in Yugoslavia when compared with June, and by 8.5 percent in
comparison with December 2001, assistant to Yugoslav Statistics Bureau manager, Dragi Stojiljkovic, said on Thursday.
Stojiljkovic said at a press conference that prices of industrial non-foodstuffs had increased by 8.6, drinks by 3.1, services by 1.9, and industrial foodstuffs by 0.7 percent, while tobacco prices had remained the same as in the previous month and that of agriculture products dropped by 7.1 percent.
