Serbian energy ministry welcomes plans for oil pipeline
BELGRADE - The Serbian Ministry of Energy and Mining welcomed Tuesday the agreement signed Monday between the US and Croatian governments on a US donation for a feasibility study on the construction of a trans-national oil pipeline.
Realization of the pipeline project linking Constanta (Romania), Pancevo (Yugoslavia), Omisalj (Croatia) and Trieste (Italy) would enable the transport of Caspian Sea oil to Europe using existing facilities maximally, the ministry said.
