Agreement signed on oil pipeline linking Romania, Yugoslavia, Croatia
BUCHAREST - The US Trade and Development Agency signed Monday in Zagreb an agreement on financing with 202,000 dollars a feasibility study on the construction of an oil pipeline linking the Romanian Black Sea port Constanta, via Pancevo (near Belgrade) and Omisalj (Croatia) with Trieste (Italy), where it would be connected to the Trans Alpine Pipeline network supplying Austria and Germany, Romanian news agency Medifax said.
The agreement was signed by the US Ambassador to Croatia Lawrence Rossin and Croatian Minister of the Economy Hrvoje Vojkovic, and the ceremony was attended by Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Kori Udovicki and Romanian Secretary of State in the Ministry of Industry and Ressources Andrei Grigorescu.
