Government adopts measures for excise goods black-marketing prevention
BELGRADE - The Serbian government press centre said on
Wednesday that the Yugoslav government's reply to its
request that in free zones the storage of excise goods which
lack excise labels be prohibited, was a favorable one.
The federal government on July 4 reached a decision that as
of that date the storage of excise goods (cigarettes and
spirits) in free zones was allowed only for the goods which
are labeled as required by the law, as well as that the
stockpiles of excise goods, which are unlabelled and are
stored in free zones, are to be returned to the exporter in
the course of 60 days.
