Federal law on companies coordinated with privatization
BELGRADE - The changes and amendments to the federal law on companies which took effect on July 4 completed its coordination with the legal regulations on privatization, which should boost this process, Serbian Minister of Economy and Privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic said on Wednesday.
Presenting the law at a press conference in the Serbian government, Vlahovic said the basic objectives of liberalizing conditions for business operations of existing companies and opening of new ones are the development of a financial market, the elimination of grey-economy privatization, a speedier adapting of the status of companies prior to privatization, and the elimination of blockage of institutional privatization.
