Yugoslav central bank proposes draft law on commodities market
BELGRADE - The Yugoslav National Bank (NBJ) on Tuesday sent to federal parliament a draft law on a commodities market and other financial instruments with a recommendation for emergency procedure.
The adoption of the law would create the necessary legal basis for the emission, distribution and trade in stocks and bonds, activities of institutions on the commodities market, which would stimulate unhindered functioning and development of a financial market in keeping with reform-related laws and privatization.
