Serbia must choose more lucrative crop than wheat - minister
SREMSKA MITROVICA - Serbian Agriculture Minister Dragan Veselinov said in Sremska Mitrovica on Friday that this was the last year Serbia had a privileged wheat production because a switch to other crops was necessary.
"Before the next sowing season, this will be on the agenda of our agrarian policy considerations and producers will be informed about it in time," Veselinov said in a meeting with the directors of agricultural complexes, cooperatives and Agrocomplex enterprise representatives.
