Sombor battery factory is model of successful enterprise
SOMBOR - Belgrade's Serbia Business Rating agency awarded an extra rating certificate to the Sombor battery factory, ranking it second according to production profitability and 8th according to credibility in its sector in 2001. Factory director Rajko Stankovic told Tanjug that the factory planned to produce 10,000
tones of car batteries with the overall power of 45 million ampere hours, or seven percent more than last year.
Nearly 40 percent of the factory's output will be exported to Italy, Greece, Russia and the Republika Srpska, Stankovic said.
