Rail workers threaten strike action
BELGRADE – Serbian rail workers have announced another one-hour warning for Monday, in the event union representatives and management official fail to reach agreement during talks tonight.
Union representative Dragan Filipovic said the strike would begin at 12 noon.
Asked if he was hopeful of avoiding industrial action, Filipovic replied: “If government representatives come, there’s the possibility we can agree.” (B92)
