Auction privatization of SMEs to be sped up
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Privatization and Economy Aleksandar Vlahovic has said that his ministry would this month launch a speedy auction
privatization of Serbian small and medium enterprises, which will include local self-rule representatives.
Speaking in a meeting with local authority officials in Belgrade, Vlahovic said that the planned 300 enterprises had already been
privatized this year and added that the privatization of enterprises which should have undergone the process in early 2003 would start in the second half of this year.
