Common currency, single customs, central bank are necessary
BELGRADE - If Serbia and Montenegro wish to have a common state they must have a common currency, central bank, banking system and single customs, otherwise there is no minimum unity, Yugoslav National Bank Governor Mladjan Dinkic has said.
Speaking to reporters at the celebration of the G17 Institute's anniversary late on Monday, Dinkic said that Montenegro, whose main source of income are services and tourism, was not in a great hurry, since it would not lose so much as Serbia in the talks on the future of the common state.
