Petrol price will not go up - Serbian finance minister
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Finance Bozidar Djelic said Tuesday that the price of petrol will not go up.
Djelic told the press that fuel industry is seeking higher prices as the former regime had contracted a debt with China through barter arrangements. Petrol was stored by Jugopetrol, which has not paid the debt totalling 280 million dollars. Representatives of the Chinese company Sinchem are coming for a visit Wednesday to discuss what is to be done about the debt, Djelic told the press.
