Montenegrin minister: Conventional double currency system unacceptable
PODGORICA - Montenegrin Finance Minister Miroslav Ivanisevic has said a double currency system, of the Yugoslav dinar and the euro, is unacceptable for this republic.
Under the republican law on the central bank, the euro is the only means of payment in Montenegro, Ivanisevic said. He rejected the idea by Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic that payment operations between the two republics can be resolved with the introduction of a double currency system.
