Costs of essential consumer articles in Serbia up 1.5 % in May
BELGRADE - The costs of essential consumer articles required monthly by a family of four went up 1.5 % in May against the previous month and 2.4 % against December 2001, Serbian Minister of Trade and Tourism Slobodan Milosavljevic said on Thursday, quoting figures of the Serbian Republican Bureau of Statistics.
These essential consumer articles cost 10,023 dinars, and average consumer articles purchased monthly by a family of four cost 16,206 dinars, which is 0.8 % up against April and 0.7 % down against December 2001, Milosavljevic said.
