Law on tobacco on procedure
Belgrade - Serbian Government submitted to the Parliament yesterday Proposal of law on tobacco. This law suggests foundation of agency for tobacco that will be in charge to organize public tenders for production of tobacco. It will also keep the register about all tobacco processing factories, manufacturers, importers, exporters, forwarding agencies, retailers and cigarette brands.
The condition that manufacturers, enterprises and private entities will have to
fulfill will be production of at least 2.5 billions of cigarettes per year and obligation of purchase of at least two thousands of tons of domestic treated tobacco per year.
