Japanese consultants for revitalizing hydro-electric power plant
BELGRADE - Representatives of the Serbian electric power company EPS and the Japanese company Jacio Engineering signed a contract in Belgrade on Wednesday on consulting services for the revitalization of an aggregate of the reversible hydro-electric power plant Bajina Basta in western Serbia.
The 307mW hydro aggregate was manufactured by Toshiba of Japan and it will be repaired thanks to a Japanese government donation worth 698 million yen, or 5.8 million dollars.
