Yugoslavia to join EUREKA programme
Belgrade - At the 20th EUREKA Ministerial conference in Thessalonica on June 28, Serbian Minister of Science, Technology, and Development Dragan Domazet will sign a agreement on Yugoslavia's accession to the EUREKA programme, which aims to improve productivity of European industry and economy and access to world markets, through cooperation between companies and scientific institutions.
At the invitation of Greece, which presides the EUREKA initiative this month, ministers from 33 countries will meet with representatives of the European Commission at the conference, chaired by Greek development minister Akis Cohacopulos, the Serbian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Development stated.
