Yugoslavia could join WTO by end of 2004 - expert
BELGRADE, - Yugoslavia might join the World Trade Organization by December
2004 if it amends, improves and enforces a series of laws, head of the
team of experts entrusted with preparing Yugoslavia's integration in
the WTO Kim Hjort said Friday in Belgrade.
Yugoslavia's membership in the WTO would mean a step closer to the European
Union, she said in a interview to Reuters.
