Climate for foreign investments in Serbia still uncertain
BELGRADE, - The climate for foreign investments in Serbia is still uncertain,
which is why Italian businessmen are hesitating to invest in Yugoslavia,
economic advisor at the Italian embassy in Belgrade Raimondo de Cardona
said Friday at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
At a session of the Chamber's foreign trade committee, Cardona explained
that the new law on the protection of foreign investments and other
relevant regulations provide some guarantees, but are not being duly
implemented, and litigations are not being resolved due to the inefficiency
of the judiciary system.
