G17 Institute says macroeconomic stability favorable
BELGRADE - Macroeconomic stability is favorable, as a result of a slower
growth of prices and living costs and production in April increased
in comparison with the average 2001 value, so that Serbia's economic
activity has an upward trend, head of the G17 Institute's social policy
department Mirosinka Dinkic said on Thursday.
She stressed export growth, which was a result of increased production,
and impressive results were particularly registered in Vojvodina, which
she said was due to timely privatization and structural adjustment.
