Djelic says new law directed against tobacco mafia
BELGRADE - A new tobacco law will enable a full increase of local production
and Serbia's fiscal income, strict cigarette import conditions will
fight smuggling and cigarette consumption will be reduced, Serbian Economy
and Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said on Thursday.
Addressing a news conference at the Serbian government, Djelic said
that the Serbian government had on Thursday adopted a bill on tobacco
that was sent to parliament for review and was expected to be adopted
in September.
