Djerdap power plant to be revitalized
BUCHAREST - Dragan Stankovic, manager general of the Djerdap (Iron Gates)
hydroelectric power plant on the border between Yugoslavia and Romania,
and Romania's Hydroelectrica manager general Eugen Pena on Thursday
signed a protocol of the 65th session of the Yugoslav-Romanian mixed
commission on Iron Gates.
The protocol underlines the exploitation of two systems in the Iron
Gates, exploitation of locks and revitalization of the Djerdap I power
plant.
