Japan grants donation for Bajina Basta hydroelectric power plant
BELGRADE - The Japanese government has decided to grant a 5.8-million-dollar donation to Yugoslavia for the repair of the Bajina Basta reversible hydroelectric power plant, the Japanese Embassy to Yugoslavia said on Monday.
A statement sent to Tanjug said that the official notes on the issue would be exchanged in Belgrade on June 18 between Japanese Ambassador Yoshiki Mine and Yugoslav Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Economic Relations Miroljub Labus.
