World Bank grants loan for modernization of Yugoslav customs service
BELGRADE - Yugoslav Deputy Premier Miroljub Labus and World
Bank Vice President Europe, Central Asia Johannes Linn on Friday
signed a 6.7 million-dollar loan agreement for the modernization
of the Yugoslav customs service to enable it to combat corruption
and smuggling.
Speaking to the press after the signing of the agreement, Labus
set out that in question is a loan with IDS conditions for promoting
the customs administration in Serbia and Montenegro.
