Cigarette haul at Serbia - Kosovo crossings
BELGRADE, Thursday – Customs officers on the administrative border between Kosovo and Serbia proper have seized almost 340,000 packets of contraband cigarettes, the Yugoslav ministry of information said today.
The haul was made during routine checks at the Merdare and Presevo border crossings. At Merdare, 140,000 packets were found in a freezer truck driven by a Montenegrin. (Beta)
