Serbian minister says auction privatization process to intensify
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Economy and Privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic said on Wednesday that auction
privatization would intensify in the next few years and that about 1,000 auctions were expected in 2003 and another 1,500 in 2004, which would successfully complete this process.
Speaking for Radio Yugoslavia, Vlahovic said that this year 150 large socially-owned enterprises were to be
privatized through international tenders and 250 others through auction process.
