MFB to grant loans for agriculture in Serbia
Micro-finance bank has begun approving credits for agriculture to all private companies and entrepreneurs, and individual agricultural producers, ranging from 250 to 125.000 Euros, with a payment time of up to 36 months and a yearly interest rate of 14 percent, the bank’s Executive director Klaus Miler said.
Commenting a recent statement of the National Bank of Yugoslavia Governor Mladjan Dinkic, that “local banks are full of money, but do not approve enough credits”, Miler said at a press conference that MFB has, this year, approved around 2.100 credits, worth around 14,4 million Euros, mostly to private companies.
He announced MFB would approve credits for agriculture for purchasing equipment, cattle, harvest work, purchasing seed, fertilizer, and protective chemical substances.
