WTO expects acceleration of Yugoslavia’s admission
BELGRADE - Yugoslav Deputy Premier and Foreign Trade Minister Miroljub Labus and Director-General of the World Trade Organization Mike Moore said Tuesday in Zagreb that they expect the process of Yugoslavia's admission to the WTO as full member would be accelerated.
Yugoslavia has had the status of observer in the WTO since February 2001.
On the sidelines of the regional ministerial conference of eastern and southeastern European countries being held in Croatia's capital within the framework of the WTO, Labus held meetings with the ministers of trade of all neighboring countries, the federal information secretariat said.
