World Bank grants 10-million-loan for reform of customs - Begovic
BELGRADE - Yugoslav Bureau of Customs manager Vladan Begovic told Tanjug on Friday that the World Bank had granted, on
favorable terms, a 10-million-loan to the customs, which will be used to carry out a reform of the customs service.
Begovic said that the reform would be aimed at improving the flux of goods and
passengers, prevention of smuggling of goods, weapons, drugs and dangerous substances, including better security and
international cooperation.
