Strong upturn of Serbian economy soon, minister Djelic
ZRENJANIN - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said Friday that the Serbian economy will in the second and third quarter of this year experience a strong upturn, following investments of 12 billion dinars in the overhaul of the Serbian power grid and of Serbian railways, the purchase of this year's
harvest of wheat, tobacco and sugar beat, and in the building of new apartments.
During a visit to the central Banat district, in northeast Serbia, within the Serbian government campaign "Serbia on the right path," Djelic in talks with representatives of socially-owned enterprises and private entrepreneurs in Zrenjanin underlined that the funds will be secured from realistic sources or from privatization revenue, foreign financial aid and World Bank credits.
