Unemployment in Serbia up by 5,000 each month
BELGRADE - Between 5,000 - 6,000 employable people register each month with the Serbian Bureau for Employment, and the latest reports show that about 805,000 people are currently unemployed in Serbia, the director of the Serbian Development Institute said on Thursday.
Presenting the spring analysis of economic trends of the Serbian Development Institute, Edvard Jakopin set out that about 760,000 people are permanently or temporarily employed in insolvent companies in Serbia, which number about 45,000.
