Non-commercial risks, corruption hamper investments
BELGRADE - Non-commercial risks and corruption represent the
greatest obstacles to a mass foreign capital inflow in Serbia,
said participants in the round table on investments in Serbia,
possibilities and obstacles, organized by the G17 Institute.
It was said that foreigners were especially cautious regarding
political instability in Yugoslavia and that corruption still
represented a big problem, although some positive steps aimed
at its eradication have been made.
