Englishmen in telecommunications and agriculture
London - Presentation of possibility for investments in Serbian
industry last week attracted attention of British American Tobacco,
Brown, Stepson Hardwood, Hallcrow Group and Mott Mac Donald.
The presence of Yugoslav Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus
and Governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia Mladjan Dinkic
gave special importance to that event. That can be also said
for Serbian Minister for privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic and
Yugoslav Ambassador in London Vladeta Jankovic.
Brits showed most of their interest in Serbian telecommunications
and tobacco industry.
One of our most interesting offers was tourism, especially the
mountain of Kopaonik. Englishmen are also interested in privatization
of certain agricultural-industrial complexes but also in completely
new investments in agriculture in the first place green gardens
and cattle farms.
