Montenegro to conduct second stage of privatization
BELGRADE - Montenegro has adopted laws providing guarrantees
for the free flow of foreign capital which is necessary for
the successful completion of privatization, the director of
Montenegro's Agency for Restructuring and Foreign Investments
said on Friday.
Branko Vujovic told a press briefing, held within the conference
of the US - Yugoslav Business Council, that Montengro's reform
legislature has been coordinated with the regulations of the
World Trade Organization and the European Union.
So far, privatization in Montenegro has been conducted through
the sale of shares, business assets, issuing of shares and their
replacement for vouchers.
