Five socially-owned firms privatized by auction
BELGRADE - Serbian Economy and Privatization Minister Aleksandar
Vlahovic called on Friday on domestic investors to take part
in the process of sale by auction of socially-owned enterprises,
instead of building parallel capacities in Serbia.
At the second sale by auction of five enterprises, held at the
Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce, Vlahovic said that conditions
for sale by auction have been met by only five socially-owned
enterprises of a total of 14 offered.
