Serbia's tax rate lowest in Europe, Montenegro makes tax changes
BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said on Friday
that Serbia had the lowest tax rate in Europe, which enabled
foreign investors to make favorable investments.
Speaking at the US-Yugoslav Business Council conference, Djelic
listed numerous tax facilities aimed at stimulating the inflow
of foreign capital and the placement of domestic capital within
the country.
Montenegrin Finance Minister Miroslav Ivanisevic said that Montenegro
was working on creating a stable climate for foreign and domestic
investments.
Important changes of the tax system, customs and state administration
have been achieved in the overall system of reforms, Ivanisevic
said.
