Djelic says EBRD earmarks half a million euros for Yugoslav projects
BUCHAREST - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said in
a statement for Tanjug in Bucharest n Monday that the European
Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has already earmarked
260 million euros for Yugoslav projects and that an equal sum
will be earmarked over the coming months, totaling over half
a billion euros by the end of the year.
Djelic pointed out that this was "the fastest rate in the past
12 months," illustrating his point with the fact that Bulgaria
received about 700-800 million euros after 10 years of work
with the EBRD, while "we went up to 500 million in less than
two years."
