Serbia addresses environment, with a little help from the OSCE
BELGRADE, Saturday – The Serbian Government has adopted draft legislation on the environment and passed it on for tabling in the Parliament.
The head of the OSCE mission in Yugoslavia, Stefano Sannino, yesterday told media that the legislation was a product of his organization’s collaboration with the Serbian Government on environmental issues.
The OSCE is also committed to supporting the establishment of a Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment.
“For this reason the OSCE Mission encourages the Parliament to adopt the draft law on amending the Serbian Law on Ministries at its next session,” said Sannino.
