No changes in Montenegrin monetary system, says Central Bank Governor
PODGORICA - Montenegrin Central Bank Board President Ljubisa
Krgovic said on Friday it was a great step forward for Serbia's
economy that the dinar has become convertible, but said this
would not essentially affect the Montenegrin monetary system.
Krgovic told a press conference the euro would continue to be
the only legal means of payment in Montenegro "and the conversion
of the dinar will be a matter of Montenegrin commercial banks
linking with banks in Serbia."
